New update from our town clerk on parking access:

“Moretown Public Parking Lot will be closed off and on for the remainder of this week (Friday 8/9) and will be open on the weekend due to construction of the parking lot, as well as contractors coming to the school to finish up flood related damages. Please expect delays or closers. Please DO NOT enter the parking lot starting Wednesday, 8/14, 8/15, 8/16, 8/19 & 8/20 between the hours of 6:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. during those hours if the sign is up "Closed to through traffic". If you want to use the recreation fields/forest, please find alternate parking (not along the road please). This is for the safety of all people.”

There are still 3 spaces to park at the tiny old library building opposite my house and at the town hall.

For those who are playing weekdays, please walk on the grass from the street to the town office. There is heavy truck traffic into and out of the parking lot. Workers do not want to be distracted by people walking on the driveway and parking lot itself.

There is parking for 3 cars at the tiny library building opposite my house. Two cars can pull in side by side and another can park on the grass shoulder. Additional parking is available next to the town hall.
