On Friday Governor Scott issued new guidelines for COVID safety. No multiple household gatherings are allowed indoor and outdoor. In response to a reporter’s question Scott said that even an outdoor walk with a neighbor is a risk. Activists are limited to immediate family ONLY.

Given the seriousness of the COVID threat, all pickleball in Moretown is suspended.

Once the threat subsides we can explore ways to meet safely outdoors to walk, snowshoe, sled, ski and “forest bathe”.

Stay healthy everyone!💕

I am so sad to say good bye to pickle ball for the winter but have fond memories of many warm November games! Looking forward to being able to socialize with my PB friends outdoors this winter. -Jenn

Rats, and I just finished my post-travel quarantine! Oh well, probably for the best given the way things are currently going. Hope to see some of the gang this winter! - Mark

Thank you Susan, it is an awful situation. I am all for being careful and obey or follow sensible rules, but what we have now is a complete shutdown. Is going to the supermarket with a lot of people coming and going, touching things, etc. a safe venue????

Tennis nets have been removed. I will bring the portable net Warren graciously gave us. Will be interesting to see how it is playing with a pickleball net😎.
